Come see us when you are in the county. Fine cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The Cardinal Dining Room
at Watoga State Park

Serving Old Fashioned
Home Cooked Meals

Enjoy great food in a relaxed atmosphere at West Virginia's oldest and largest State Park. The restuarant has been completely remodeled, yet retains the unique log cabin style reminiscent of the CCC camps.

A varied menu of old fashioned, home styled foods, seasoned in the kitchen. Special diets available as well as a new Kids Menu. Also new this year West Virginia pan fried Rainbow Trout.

Whether you are camping, staying in one of the popular cabins, or fishing in the lake, stop in and experience our country hospitality. Since the restuarant is only 1 mile from the Alleghany Trail many hikers stop for dinner during their trek along this historic and scene walkway.

Watoga is a sprawling, verdant woodland filled with a multitude of recreational features for park guests and visitors. The park features a restaurant and commissary in the attractive, rustic-frame administration building.
